The main map covers the centre and east of the town, with coverage extending eastward about a mile to Royals Farm and Hopleys Farm. Features include LNWR and MR railways with station, St Editha's church, Assembly Rooms, Castle, Smallware Mills, Bolehall (at foot of map), Manor House, cattle market, Bole Hall Mill, Grammar School, Perry Crofts, Tamworth Union Workhouse (near top of map), schools etc.

On the reverse we include a good section of adjacent sheet 59.10, covering the western part of the town. Features here include Moat House, Lichfield Street, clothing factory, The Leys area, Wigginton Hall.
